Eyewear Repair

At Nagata Optical, we offer professional repair services on most eyeglasses.

In some cases, glasses can be repaired and returned the same day.
Examples:

• detached or lost nose pad (given that pad arms are intact)
• lens came out of frame (given that lens is not chipped or broken)
• thread breakage on semi-rimmed glasses
• loose or lost screw(s)
• frame is bent/disfigured (given that there are no cracks)

In above cases, we do not charge for service, only for parts that were required for repair.

On the other hand, in cases such as ones listed below, it may take up to 2 weeks to repair.
Examples:

• cracked or snapped temple(arm)
• detached hinge
• detached bridge(between the lens)
• rim breakage
• re-painting or re-plating metal frame, including changing colors

In such cases, we generally transfer the frame to a specific specialist of the repair required. We will contact you with the estimate and you can decide if you would like to proceed with the repair.
